About

I’m a born and bred Southern girl who leads a double life. I love lip-smackin’ good food and I have to fuel myself to perform in the gym. Often times people don’t think these two ideas can coincide, but I’m here to tell you they can.

I don’t like sacrificing taste to the diet food gods. You won’t find any plain foods here (Sorry! Not really.). What you will find are fresh, different, and sometimes classic flavors of your favorite dishes minus the impact on your waistline.

The flip-side of this coin is me being a fitness junkie. I started out as a gym unicorn (I don’t like “gym rat”), and now fitness is my main business. My body has to perform, and I need proper fueling. I outlaw sugar and junk food to replace them with smart carbs, lots of veggies, and some occasional richness.

Leading a fit and healthy lifestyle isn’t just about spending time in the gym. That one hour in the gym is only the tip of the iceberg. The bigger part, where many people slip, are the other 23 hours in the day when you’re eating. There’s reason behind the adage that abs are made in the kitchen. A healthy lifestyle is supported by food and fitness. I integrate both principles to help bring you balance and satisfaction.
